Day 5 11/3/13
This past week we saw it really start to come together. The players were ripping through and using ball fake during many of our other drills and in our 3 on 3 games. Players have done a great job getting better each and every week!
The above picture shows one of our younger players ripping through before attacking the basket for a layup during a drill. Below you will also see a number of the other skills we worked on this week at Rising Stars Camp, including the very difficult jump stop. No this is not your typical jump stop, but it is going to take some time to develop. We are in the early stages, but before you know it the players will be using this great move in games.

Team Shooting Competition
Another great week of Rising Stars Camp is behind us, but the skills the players learned have become part of their game. Congratulations to Marley Shea our Camper of the Day and Lauren Flynn our 3-point champion. We are looking forward to the last two weeks of Rising Stars Camp!
We also want to let everyone know that our 1st annual alumni basketball game will take place on Sunday November 24th from 12-2 at Hamilton-Wenham High School. Current playes will match up against former members of the basketball team in an exhibition game. The 5th-6th grade players and the 7th-8th grade players will also be playing exhibition games on that day as well. It should be a great day for all past, present, and future Hamilton-Wenham Generals!
