This year at fall ball camp players have learned almost every FUNdamental skill they will need to become a better basketball player. Players learned how to use triple threat position, pivot, shoot correctly, pass, dribble, defend in a variety of ways, and communicate along with several other skills. In the last two years, we have seen players of all age levels become better in just a few short days at our camp. That said, it takes repetition after repetition to perfect any skill. We hope that players take the skills they learn at our camp and continue to work on them until our next Rising Stars Camp.
Below you will find some new drills where we continue to build on skills players learned previously at our camp. For example, we began teaching players how to deny the wing on defense, jump stop to avoid a defender on offense, and even added in some advanced dribbling drills. Naturally, we continue to work on essential skills like basic shooting form too.
